On Sunday 3 June 2012, up to a thousand boats will muster on the River Thames in preparation for Her Majesty The Queen to lead the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. It will be one of the largest flotillas ever assembled on the river.

The Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant celebrates Her Majesty's sixty years of service by magnificently bringing the Thames to life; making it joyously full with boats, resounding with clanging bells, tooting horns and sounding whistles; recalling both its royal heritage and its heyday as a working, bustling river.

 

RS Hispaniola is the perfect place to be to see the Queen and the entire flotilla made up of boats from  the armed forces, fire, police, rescue and an exuberance of historic craft, wooden launches, and steam vessels.

 

You can join up to thirty thousand flag-waving members of the public with a riverside seat for this floating celebration of Her Majesty's sixty year reign. RS Hispaniola will be offering tickets to spend the afternoon on the River Thames to view this unique spectacle.

 

Unforgetable Queen's Diamond Jubilee Spactacle

Music barges, boats spouting geysers and pyrotechnic barges spitting smoke and daytime fireworks will all take part and there will be specially constructed elements like a floating belfry, its chiming bells answered by those from riverbank churches.
