The Hispaniola floating restaurant is moored in the heart of Central London, alongside Victoria Embankment, by Hungerford Bridge. A renowned restaurant, the Hispaniola seats up to 220 people in air-conditioned, stylishly furnished comfort. The restaurant menu has a distinctive Mediterranean twist, and is known around and beyond Central London for its excellent and generous dishes. Dining on the Hispaniola places you in the eye of the storm in Central London, where you can observe the tempestuous activity of one of the busiest places in the world whilst tranquilly floating on the River Thames, enjoying some of the best food any restaurant in Central London has to offer. Cocooned in comfort you can enjoy your meal to the accompaniment of Central London's majestic sights.

The à la carte restaurant menu is truly international in influence and with many high quality ingredients, whether it be a pan-fried foie gras with shallots and poached pear starter, a main course of braised salmon on lemon potatoes with buttered curly kale and light lemon-butter sauce or a simple dessert of chocolate truffle with orange sauce.

There is a separate Tapas menu more reminiscent of a traditional Spanish bar than a restaurant in Central London. Set menus are also available for Lunch and Diner, and the wine list is one of the most extensive to be found in the capital.

Comfort and Elegance

The R.S. Hispaniola restaurant ship is fully air-conditioned. Both decks are warm in Central London's winter and cool, when needed, in summer. She is also stabilised, rising and falling gently with each tide. Her days of tackling an ocean swell are, we hope, long behind her now, and though the view from her decks has changed since forty years ago, the sight of magnificent Central London is no less impressive today than it was when she was known as the Maid of Ashton and sailed the Western Isles.
